Here I lay to peaceful slumber
Nothing else to even wonder
Then my mind is torn asunder
And I wake to sudden wonder
I feel the wind softly caress my face
I hear the whispered hymns which give
solace
Upon my old and weary soul it goes
Banishing the darkness that it holds
Under moonlight as pale as snow
Among the flowers all aglow
Beyond the meadow sweet and pure
Away from problems I endure
