i was really touched upon watching this video... :P

reposting this...from http://www.metacafe.com/watch/1273966/madonna_decena_britains_got_talent_2008_episode_2/

Madonna Decena blows the judges and audience away on Britains Got Talent 2008 with a breathtaking performance of this famous Whitney Houston song..Britains Got Talent... More» 2008. But this 33 year-old from the Philippines lived up to her billing, as she wowed the judges and audience with her powerful performance and heart-felt story. Trembling and a little unsure of herself, Madonna walked onto the stage and told everyone her reason for being there. Six months ago she flew out to Britain in the hope of creating a better life for herself and two young daughters. Agonisingly she had to leave her precious children behind with their grandparents in the Philippines, until she had raised enough money to send for them. Her rendition of I Will Always Love You brought a collective lump to the auditorium's throat. "I know you were singing that song for your babies" said a tearful Amanda. This audition was no Holiday for Madonna, it was potentially life-changing, and when the panel told her she had made it to the next round... it was as if all her dreams had been answered, just Like A Prayer.

Manila Ocean Park
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
(Redirected from Manila ocean park)

The Manila Ocean Park is the Philippines' first world-class oceanarium owned by China Oceanis Philippines Inc., a subsidiary of China Oceanis Inc., a Singaporean-registered firm that has operated four oceanariums in China. The Manila Ocean Park (MOP) is currently under construction behind the historical Quirino Grandstand at the Rizal Park. On February 29, 2008, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo (with Philippine Tourism Authority general manager Robert Dean Barbers) graced the soft opening of Manila Ocean Park.

Construction Phases

First Phase – Oceanarium moved its soft opening date to March 1, 2008. The oceanarium is said to be bigger than Sentosa's Underwater World oceanarium in Singapore in terms of floor area (Sentosa Underwater World has 6,000 square meters).

Second Phase – includes the marine-themed mall and the hotel, to open in mid-2008.

Third Phase – the open marine habitats which is also set to open in the second quarter of 2008.

General Sections of the Manila Ocean Park

Oceanarium:

Sections of MOP Oceanarium

1. Agos (Flow) – a rainforest motif complete with 8 tanks of freshwater fishes.

2. Bahura (The Reef) – exhibition of artificial corals in 48 tanks

3. Laot (Fishing Ground) – features big fish and Eagle-spotted rays in a long tank.

4. Kalaliman (The Deep) – showcases marine animals found in the deepest parts of Philippine waters.

5. Buhay na Karagatan (Living Ocean) – the main attraction of the oceanarium is a 25-meter long walkway tunnel with 220-degree curved acrylic walls similarly seen in Ocean Park Hong Kong, Underwater World in Singapore, Siam Ocean World in Bangkok, Thailand and Aquaria KLCC in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The difference between MOP's is a 220-degree curved tunnel as compared to the standard 180-degree curved tunnels seen in other Asian countries.

6. Overhang Tank – variety of rays fly over while you're under this unique Overhang Tank.

7. Pating (Shark) – features several species of shark.

Marine-Themed Mall:

The first marine-themed mall in the Philippines which houses 25 restaurants where customers can enjoy Manila's beautiful sunset, and even dine al fresco. The mall also features 30 unique stores.
